My cat requires intense play, twice a day visits, and he gets lonely easily. He also requires spotless litter boxes because of a history of urinary crystals. For three years, I have been able to rely on the nannies to take care of Ed. They come twice a day, send pictures, and put on music for him. I never worry if he’s ok. I come home and it’s obvious he has been cared for by cat people. They’ve accommodated last minute trips for family emergencies, come to my house in a blizzard, and always been trustworthy. When Ed hears Kyle’s voice, he comes running and he cries when she leaves. My cat loves her deeply. If you want a cat person to care for your cat, I can’t sing high enough praises. - 1/14/2023

They confirm my reservations, my personal nanny texts me with any questions before the visit, during the visits I get texts and email with pictures of my pets, I can text or email while I am away with any additional instructions. They will do extra things such as water plants or take the garbage can to the curb. I can count on them being there each and every day I am gone. I've been using Professional Pet Nanny for over 2 years. I travel frequently for work (when we're not in COVID captivity!). I can board my dog, but the cats prefer being at home. Professional Pet Nanny is the best! We have used their services for several years now and have always been completely satisfied. Reservations are easy to make, and last minute changes are not a problem. The pet sitters communicate daily regarding visits and care, and even include photos so we always know what's going on. They are also happy to provide services like collecting mail or newspapers, so our home is looked after too. Care notes when we get home are comprehensive. I have used PPN for the 16 years I have lived in Cincinnati. Kyle & her team have known 5 of my cats; they have cared for them & loved them as if they were their own. In the "before times" I used traveled weekly for work & never worried about anything happening in my home while out of town. Setting up a reservation is easy, with a confirmation e-mail outlining all needs (medications, water plants, collect mail, etc..) so you know everything you have requested to care for your pet(s) will be handled. The prices are excellent, the team always goes beyond, and the extras, like pet photos sent during your trip, house tidied up, always a new toy or treat left for pets, progress report to let you know of any issues (emergency vet visit, package that didn't arrive), & happy, content, well-cared for, safe pets waiting for you upon your return. Kyle is the Mary Poppins of pet sitters. She first appeared at my door with a bag of treats and toys for my 2 kitties. They couldn't resist her. She carefully reviewed my plans and went over all the details with me before I left town. Once I was gone, she kept them wildly entertained. She had them running, chasing and jumping - they got in touch with their Inner Athletes, that's for sure. During each visit, she spent quality play time with the cats for at least 30 minutes, and even texted me photos, so I could witness their fun time with Kyle. In addition to the perfect pet care, Kyle also brought in the mail, emptied the garbage and made sure the home was secure, etc. I am going to go ahead and book my next 2 sessions with her and the team! - 11/14/2020 

Kyle and her team are beyond amazing. The day I called to talk about their services, I got so much more than another company that I had been emailing back and forth with. Her and her husband came to our house THAT NIGHT to meet us and meet our dog. I offered to sit at the table to discuss our needs and the details but they went straight for the floor to get to know our pup! They are the nicest, most kindest people. I've used Professional Pet Nanny several times to look after my cat when I'm out of town. When I first signed up, Kyle came over to meet the animal, see the house, and go over any special needs the pet may have. From there on, I could just submit online when I would need someone to come over and for what types of services. For every visit, my cat would get fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and some play time. I never had any issues with scheduling and the website is very straight forward. Kyle or someone from her team have been at our home several times. Three dogs and a cat live with us. They are so much more content when they are in their own surroundings. They get lots of play time and fed well, we get videos and photos of the visit which is so fun! We began using Professional Pet Nanny when the person who had been helping us with our dogs was no longer available to help. It can be stressful giving someone you don't know access to your home, especially when by design, you are not there. We have been very pleased with PPN, and they have done a great job looking after our four legged kids. Great. Very responsive to initial request when contacting them directly. Constant follow ups prior to actual service. Daily updates sent via text. Was able to adjust when my cat had surgery and needed limited activity and be sequestered in a cage unless supervised. Nanny let cat out to exercise, gave meds, gave wet food diluted with water, put e-collar back on and gave cat lots of TLC (lap sitting, brushing, petting). Kept cage clean and water and food refreshed. Cleaned litter box and cage. Got mail. Provided daily checklist and thank you note upon my return. She was a great listener, had a note pad and took diligent notes while I explained my pig’s meal plan and excercize needs. She watched my pig for 5 days. An hour in the morning and an hour in the evening. My favorite part of the Nanny experience was receiving a Live Photo of my pig via text from my sitter each day. It helped Bc I missed him very much! They're very good about learning about your pet and what he/she needs to have done for their care. Updating to review a new employee at Professional Pet Nanny...Marissa took care of our two dogs and brand new kitten while we were gone for a week on vacation. I can't say enough good things about her!! With our kitten being new, he was still a little timid being around the dogs. Marissa got them all in the same room playing together and they were well on their way to being best friends by the time we got home 🙂 She sent us the cutest pictures every time she stopped in to feed/take care of them and it was easy to see they were having so much fun with her around. LOVE Professional Pet Nanny! Kyle and her team are so wonderful with my cats. Before hearing about PPN, I felt awful when I'd have to leave my 2 cats for longer than a couple days and they would suffer pretty terrible separation anxiety and would just seem all around miserable upon my return. I decided to give PPN a try when I went on an extended vacation and couldn't be happier with their professionalism and just pure love and kindness towards my cats and (I'm sure) all animals. We hired Professional Pet Nanny a few years ago since all of our family was going with us on a trip - we needed a pet sitter. We had never had anyone but family do this. We had special needs and she had to visit several times per day. We loved our experience! Nanny Kyle met our pets prior to our departure and reviewed everything with us. During our trip we received daily photos and updates. We returned to find a clean home, happy pets and a detailed visit log. Kyle even brought a new toy and catnip for the babies. There was also classical music playing for them. One of my cats was a bit chubbier than I left him but that was probably stress eating on his part! Our experience was a wonderful one with this service. We usually take all of our pets with us on vacations, but were unable to this time. We were worried about having someone come into our home, but all was wonderful. We loved their policies on requiring flea prevention and meet and greets. We got pictures and updates every day via email. They even purchased gifts for our critters. We came home to very content pets (all a little chubbier), flowers, a cooked meal, fruit, and even a chocolate cake. We have hired Professional Pet Nanny for several years now, to care for our dear "fur child" while we travel, sometimes for as much as six weeks at a time. We have been pleased with the apparent care they take in following written instructions for feeding our critter, watering plants, etc. They provide a daily "log" of care provided, and try to communicate with us via email as requested. I have been using Professional Pet Nanny since late 2008/early 2009. They take care of my two small dogs. I typically schedule once or twice a day visits. I have been impressed with their service from the beginning! My dogs are paper-trained, so the nanny will wash their pads when soiled. They also check my mail, water my plants, and take out my trash if requested. There was even one time when I had a death in my family and had to leave town suddenly. The pet nanny was able to arrange her schedule such that I could still have some items delivered to my house in my absence. They have always been responsive to my requests for pet sitting. We have use Professional Pet Nanny, Inc. consistently since moving to two 4 years ago. We started with two elderly dogs who have since passed on and now have two young boxers. I hired Professional Pet Nanny to take care of my puppy Pippa in the afternoons during my long 10 hour days at work. I selected the puppy program where they take Pippa on a walk then play with her and prior to leaving walk her again. This is a 45 minute service but most days I know my nanny is there longer than 45 minutes playing with Pippa working on commands and loving on her while I am at work. I have loved having Professional Pet Nanny there for me at all times since I can add on a visit any time of day if needed. Kyle came the week before my trip to get acquainted with Cleo. My cat tends to be very shy around strangers and she hid most of the time Kyle was there. While I was gone, Kyle came twice a day to feed and play with Cleo. Unfortunately my kitty was very stubborn and would not come out of hiding much except to eat some food. I have no doubt Kyle tried to engage Cleo in playtime and was very patient. She left detailed notes of her visits which I appreciated reading. Kyle and Toby have been lifesavers for me. For years, they have walked my 85+ year old mother's dog twice a day every day. The only thing that has ever kept them from showing up is snow/ice. We have been using the Professional Pet Nanny for over a year and have been very happy with their service. Our two cats have different diets and they make sure that the cats eat their proper food. I chose this service when I moved to NKY almost 3 years ago. I used to travel very frequently for work and had a service I used when I lived east of Cincinnati that I absolutely loved. I was disappointed to learn, after I moved, that they didn't service NKY. Through Angie's List I found Professional Pet Nanny. Kyle contacted me to learn more about my needs and expectations. She then met me and my dogs and scheduled a time for me to meet with the nanny who would be caring for my dogs. I've been using them ever since. I don't travel constantly anymore, but I still take several trips a year for business and pleasure. I do appreciate that they get the mail, bring in packages, take the trash to the curb, turn lights on and off and sweep the floors before I get home. I've been using Kyle for a few years now, ever since my friend who used to watch my cat moved. She has always done a great job, my last cat passed away last May and I didn't plan on getting another as I travel quite a bit. Sadly my brother died of cancer last November and I inherited his cat. It's good to know you have someone taking care of your pet (and your plants, mail, etc) who really cares about the well being of the pet. Pet Nannies Kyle and Angela stayed overnight at my house to take care of two dogs while I was traveling abroad for three weeks. They did a wonderful job taking care of the dogs and the house, and when I returned exhausted from 15 hours of flying, my house was fragrant with a roast chicken they made so I wouldn't have to cook. I can't express how grateful I was for their loving care of the dogs. One of the dogs is shy of strangers, so the nannies came for several short visits in advance of the trip (at no charge) to make sure the shy one was comfortable with them, and both nannies came to the house when I was leaving to make sure the transition was easy. From the pictures they sent while I was gone, I don't think the dogs missed me at all. I am happy to highly recommend Professional Pet Nanny for anyone who needs pet care in the home. I could not be more pleased with the job that Kyle did with Aslan while I was on vacation for a week. Aslan is almost 17 years old and he has to take two pills a day for hyperthyroidism. For years my best friend has watched him whenever I left for vacation, but she recently moved to Florida and for the first time I had to have someone take care of Aslan for me that didn't know his routine. I read all the reviews on Angie's list and called Kyle. From the first moments of the phone interview I started to be more comfortable, after meeting with her, I knew that Aslan would be in great hands. She spent an hour with me going over all of his needs as well as what would need done with the house while we were gone. She also played with him and gave him cat nip, which he LOVES. I can't even explain the relief I felt knowing that I was leaving my very beloved cat in the hands of someone who would take such great care of him. Kyle sent me daily text messages with pictures and updates of how Aslan was doing, she played with him, and had him taking his pills and generally just gave him the love I couldn't be there to give. She also went above and beyond with the house, as you know we've had a horrendous winter and Kyle actually shoveled my walk and drive so that it would look like we were home. She watered the plants, brought in the mail and the only reason she didn't take out the trash was because I told her she didn't have to (I only have to take out the trash to the curb about once a month). Our cat Pete is used to lots of attention. He has lost quite a bit of weight because of health problems, so his eating and drinking enough was very important to me. He prefers to eat while sitting on my lap, so I typically sit in my recliner several times a day with him on a blanket on my lap and his food bowl on the arm of the recliner, and he eats and I watch TV or read or eat lunch. And of course Pete wants to be petted both while he is eating and as much as possible afterwards. So I was worried about going to Florida for several weeks in February and having someone just stop in, fill his food and water bowls, and leave. Pete's emotional as well as physical health were important to me. After research, I called Professional Pet Nannies, and Kyle, the owner, came to my house for a consultation to meet Pete and me. I was impressed with her and the service she offered and made a reservation for our time away. While we were gone, Kyle and/or her husband Tyler came every morning and every afternoon to spend time with Pete, in the exact same way that he was used to with me. Kyle called Pete a "lover" and enjoyed showering him with attention while he ate and she watched TV or read or made phone calls. (If he had been a younger cat that liked to play, she would have played with him too.) Kyle kept a log of the time she spent here, showing that she was here at least an hour and usually longer at each visit. She made certain that he had food in his bowl and fresh water and scooped the litter box each visit. She also closed the blinds and shades on all of our windows and turned on the porch lights before she left in the afternoon. Every morning, she opened all the blinds and shades and turned off the porch lights. After it snowed, as it did often that month, she and/or Tyler cleared our driveway and sidewalks. All of these things made it look like we were home. Every few days, Kyle sent me a text, usually including a photo of Pete looking extremely contented or asleep, with an update on how things were going. I found this immensely reassuring. When we returned home, we found Pete relaxed and happy, and at the same weight as when we had left. We settled right back into the old routine, but I got the feeling sometimes that Pete missed Kyle and the amount of time she spent with him. I did not always have time to sit down as long as he would have liked in those busy first days at home! I felt that Professional Pet Nannies provided outstanding personalized service which was well worth the cost. I have already made a reservation for our next trip. Pete will approve! - 4/07/2014 

Our pet nanny, Allie, came over before we went away. We went over details of the visit. She came twice a day and left us notes on the cats (report card) for us when we came home. We have been using Professional Pet Nanny for almost 2 years. When we first started using the service, I was impressed that Kyle came to meet me in person, look at my house, suggest fun things for the dogs & bunny, and gave me a formal folder about their service, reminders to tell my neighbors that we would have this service coming, etc. Then, I also met with the nanny that would be coming to my area most, so that the dogs/bunny could meet her. The dogs immediately loved her. Anytime a different nanny has needed to come, they've always contacted us in advance to meet us and meet the dogs to ensure the dogs are comfortable with the new nanny. The website is very helpful, and the services are very reliable. I love being able to log in and schedule the service online. I always receive confirmations from Kyle within a day. When we leave on vacation, we receive texts from the nanny to reassure us that everything is fine. The nanny also will send pictures via text while we are away, showing the dogs out on a walk or playing with a new toy. When we come home, the nanny had detailed report cards for each day telling us if/when the animals went to the bathroom, how long the nanny stayed, if the animals were happy or moody, etc. Kyle and the nanny have also scheduled to come to my house separately (when not for nannying services) just to talk, ask me if they are meeting my needs, etc. When they come, I see how much my dogs love them, and I know they are in good hands. When we first started using the service, we had a bunny rabbit in addition to our 2 dogs. Unfortunately, during one of our trips, the bunny broke his back. The pet nanny was incredible during this episode -- she called us immediately upon finding the rabbit not hopping, and asked if it was okay if she took him to the emergency vet. We of course said yes. While at the vet, she called or texted continually to keep us in the loop and let us make decisions. Unfortunately, the bunny passed away, but when we came home, the pet nanny had left us a sweet note and a frame photo of the bunny that she had taken while at the vet. It was very touching & thoughtful. I think that the Professional Pet Nanny is a great service. We have always found them reliable, our animals love them, and sometimes they even pick up our house! It is a fantastic service, with great prices. I have been very pleased with the Professional Pet Nanny services and have been using them frequently for about a year to watch my cat when I go out of town. (June 2013) We love PPN! We met with Kyle for an initial consultation, we talked, she toured our house, received details on care, signed documents (e.g. emergency contact information), and she introduced herself to our cat. When we went out of town she came by once or twice a day to feed the cat, clean her box, bring in mail/packages, took out the garbage/recycling. PPN goes beyond the usual pet sitting by also spending quality time playing with the pets. This definitely decreases the amount of stress leaving creates. While we were gone it was comforting to receive text message pictures of our kitty, so we knew our house and our fuzzy friend were being cared for and were in good hands. We have continued to use PPN when we go out of town for long weekends because our cat is so happy when we return. I found this company via Angie's List and called for the initial appointment. After a few days of phone tag, Kyle and I were able to speak and make an appointment for her to come to my house. Kyle conducts a very thorough interview about pet needs and habits and also covers house-sitting items like trash pickup, alarm systems, etc. She also brought catnip and toys and played with the cats during her visit. Kyle then completed our contract online and sent me a link with the details for confirmation along with a link for payment. Kyle came to my house twice each day, fed the cats, took care of the litter box and played with the cats as well. On several occasions she took digital photos of the cats and emailed them to me. It seems silly, but gives you reassurance that she is making her visits and caring for your pets. She also brought in a newspaper that was delivered by accident and a package that was left on the doorstep during my absence as well as taking the trash and recycling out on the appropriate day. When I got home my pets were glad to see me, but I do think they greatly benefited from the attention they received while I was away. I've been using Professional Pet Nanny for 4 years. I have two small dogs -- a shih-tzu and a yorkie-poo. I previously used a pet resort but one of my dogs became seriously ill when I was halfway around the world. I switched to 'in-home' care to keep my dogs in their own environment to minimize stress. I have not had any issues with Professional Pet Nanny during the time that I've used them. I typically schedule 2 or 3 visits a day. It is easy to book appointments on the website and it is easy to get in touch with Kyle or the assigned pet nanny during my travels. My dogs are always happy and appear well-cared for when I come back home. Professional Pet Nanny also provides services including watering plants, taking out trash, washing puppy pads, or collecting mail and newspapers. There's no extra charge for these things. I would like to highlight a 4-day trip that I had to take for a family emergency. I had to leave town the next morning and did not have an exact time or a reservation. I called Kyle to give her a 'heads up' that I needed to leave town and needed care for my dogs but I was still working out the details. Kyle put me in touch with Allie (my dogs' nanny) and I gave her my travel plans. I was able to leave home knowing the dogs were in good hands. Another wrinkle: I was in the middle of getting laminate floors put down in my house and the store had to deliver the flooring at least 48 hours in advance of the install date. I asked Allie for help in getting the flooring delivered while I was out of town so I did not have to reschedule. Allie was able to meet the delivery team at my house and get my flooring delivered. I am a 'regular' Professional Pet Nanny customer and will continue to use them in the future. I would highly recommend them to other pet owners. - 11/07/2012 

We've had a great experience with Kyle (owner) and Erin, our specific cat sitter. Our cats always seem happy when we get back, and it's clear that the sitter has spent a fair bit of time playing and interacting with them. Erin always leaves really detailed notes of her interactions with our cats, too. Sometimes she's even left toys or other treats for them. The one thing I will say is that their prices are a bit high, but it's worth it to be able to vacation peacefully knowing our cats are in good hands! In the past we always had family, friends or neighbors stop by to feed and play with our cat, Sparky (we only have one cat). As a returning customer, the requested service was set up by email which is very easy to do. You are sent a confirmation of the dates and time you would like the service performed so if you made an error in your information you can change it prior to your trip. The pet sitter plays with our cat, makes sure it has plenty of food and water, brings in the mail and newspapers and makes sure the house is secure. Upon our return home, a written report is waiting for us to tell us how our cat doing was during our absence. When you go away and leave your pet you want someone completely dedicated to your pet, who would basically go to any length to care for your pet. That is what you get with Kyle and her Pet service. We have used her several times. She has gone way above and beyond the call of duty to take care of our cat. She took care of him during the "great snow" of Feb 2010 and that involved driving to our house in blizzard conditions, arranging for someone to plow the driveway, all on top of taking care of our cat. When we return from vacation our cat is completely relaxed and happy, having gotten all sorts of love and attention. We get email and text updates with pictures. You also have an easy to use web reservation system, and report cards for each visit. Kyle also carefully trains and oversees the pet nannies that work for her. I have been using her service for a while. She is really good with our cat. She is very personable and very attentive. She has an online facility where we can make appointments with her for her to come out and get our cat. She has got all our information online. A couple of times when I was going out of town in the eleventh hour she was able to come out to take care of my cat. I went online and told her that I knew it was late but that I would be leaving the next day. One of her employees who live close to where we live had come to do the cat sitting then. Contacting the service was initially time-consuming and frustrating, because the website was confusing and not user-friendly. However, all our contacts with Kathy, our nanny, have been direct and easy. She has even been able to care for our pets with relatively short notice at times. She is so sweet and absolutely wonderful with our dogs. It was the best ever pet-sitting experience in more than thirty years. We had total confidence in Kyle who is super-qualified. She loves animals. Our Maine Coon cat adored her, and he usually hides when someone outside of the family appears. She built up his confidence. We just moved to this area in June, and the poor cat was shedding hair and stressed with workers and the move. When we returned from our trip we were amazed to see how healthy and happy he was. Our other cat, the dominant one, was fine and it was good for him to be around Kyle because she was so great with nurturing. Our house was in better shape upon our return than when we left. Because Halloween was coming and the neighbors had decorations displayed, Kyle put out some for us so our house would look occupied. Amazing! Everything was spotless inside and out. I used Kyle and Tyler at Professional Pet Nanny for about 5 years. I recently just moved to Louisville and left Cincy and truthfully tried NOT to move as I didn't want to give Kyle and her business up. Kyle and her team cared for my 2 cats for 5 years and became family. I could never imagine how fantastic of a service it was as I used other pet nannies and they came short of expectations consistently. Not only did Kyle for 5 years have open access to my home and cared nearly weekly for my cats while I traveled, she was truly family and extension of me to the cats. They used to stress and freak out when I left. With Kyle I would come home and they would look at me like "what are you doing back here so soon?" I swear I could never imagined how amazing this business would impact my pets lives and I am so grateful for her TLC. Kyle is great! I know our cats are in good care when we are out of town. She comes by a couple of times a day to check on the cats and spend time with them. She'll bring in the mail and take out the garbage. She'll also turn on different lights around the house so it looks like there is someone at home. The experience was nothing short of excellent in every way. Our cats did not do well at all when we boarded them, they would not eat. This was our first try at something different, and we are so grateful for such a positive experience. They did great when we were away and were happy to see us when we got home, and there was no period of transition they needed, a huge improvement from getting them home from the boarder and having them hide under our bed for a day while they get back to normal, not to mention worrying about the health risks because they wouldn't eat while we were away. Nothing against boarders but our cats just didn't do well with them. They are so much more comfortable being in their own home. Now we know that we don't have to worry about getting a reservation at the boarder's, the Pet Nanny can take care of them any time we need them. The cost was the same as if we'd put them up at the boarder. - 12/28/2005 

I highly recommend Professional Pet Nanny. Kyle came to my house to meet my dogs before I left. She took pictures of them while I was gone and left detailed notes about each visit.
